Cooking from Mairlyn Smith's Peace, Love & Fibre
We were hoping to welcome Mairlyn Smith back to the school this week to cook from her latest book, Peace, Love & Fibre.
The boys have worked with Mairlyn a few times before – they’ve made butter tarts, Grab n Go cookies, did a little improv in the kitchen (did you know Mairlyn is a Second City alum?) and last year she made lemon-ricotta pancakes from Peace, Love & Fibre with them. This week, however, she was unable to make it at the last minute but we continued with the plan I had and the recipes I had chosen anyway. I know she was there in spirit!
